I have been a pet owner since childhood. My first dog was a mixed breed cocker spaniel. When I got married, we introduced an Irish Setter to our family. This was a great dog for our children as well. Now that we are getting along in years, we decided to get an American Cocker Spaniel. We adopted Abby before she became a rescue dog and got shipped out to a shelter, at 10 months old. She will be a fine pet and loves the attention she finally deserves.
